【全球新视野】Jinan-Laiwu high speed railway’s Xueye Station square caps off

The main structure of the square in front of Xueye Station, which is part of the Jinan-Laiwu high speed railway, was capped off on Aug 15, which was 25 days ahead of schedule and helps the railway achieve the goal of opening to traffic by the end of this year.

Xueye Station, located in the northern of the Xueye tourist site in Laiwu district, Jinan, includes construction of a square in front of the station, roads, traffic facilities, and landscaping projects.

As the square adopts the shape of Xueye Lake"s shoreline, it contains complicated underground pipelines that are difficult to construct. The underground construction area is 2.5 hectares.

Jinan-Laiwu high speech railway is China"s first municipal-scale high-speed railway with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and is crucial to Jinan"s high-speed railway network.

Once operational, the railway will help boost Jinan"s regional integration.
